Leadership & Governance

The Adoo Family Foundation Board of Directors is a contributory group of servant leaders and young minds who provide strategic guidance to operations of activities.

Our commitment is especially intentional to increasing members to include children and young adults with leadership potential. In line with that commitment, we ask that you kindly open your heart today to join us, recognizing the difference that you can make on the frontiers of scholarship, the future leadership of our world, the delightfulness associated with finding success in mentoring others and protecting the views and wishes of less fortunate members of our community.

We are thankful for their duty and passion to improving the chances of low-income persons to succeed in life, including that of our founder, Dr. Yaw Amponsah Adoo.

OUR VALUES

We know that pursuing higher education is hard but understand that life is harder. We also know that strong and resilient low-income students find a way to overcome their challenges if they are given a chance. We are in the business of giving a chance, informed by our rich Ghanaian roots and values which include;

Change and Support: We value hard work that leads to address systemic change and those that provide direct responses to critical needs of low-income students and the communities they live in.

Communication and Collaboration: We believe in the hatched potential and robust exchange of information and the helpfulness of collaboration that is innovative, efficient and extraordinary.

Listening and Partnership: We value the exchange of ideas, initiatives and resources, and we seek partnerships that influence the assets and skills of all stakeholders.
